Legacy Style Fashion Show

I made an appearance at the Miss Beautiful International pageant this past weekend, during the Legacy Style Fashion Show. It was great to support Jaison Radcliff with his new line of swimwear, and most recent project- The Cinderella Project.

It is Jaison’s mission to collect at least 15 formal gowns, and distribute them to young ladies in need of a gown, that otherwise may not be able to afford them. There is a slight catch though. Just like in Cinderella, if you do not send him a picture of you in the gown by 12 midnight on the night of your event, you assume full responsibility of the retail cost of the gown. If you would like to donate to this cause, you can find details on the Legacy Style facebook page. If you are in need of a gown, please visit the web page, and you will find a place to fill out a short addmission essay. This will be the essay read over before you are given the gown (so make it good)

It was great to represent such a gracious and giving man.

I really enjoyed spending time with the other models, and pageant contestants. Everyone was so sweet, and so personable.

I think I had my first “celebrity” moment here too. I walked into a room, and not only were all eyes on me, but everyone knew who I was, even the director of the pageant, who I had no clue what his name was!

It was such a great experience and I really enjoyed it! Visit Legacy Style’s facebook page, and LIKE it for pictures from the event!

“Elegance is not the prerogative of those who have just escaped adolesence, but of those who have already taken possession of their future.”

My new FAVORITE fashion designer!

George Chakra. My new addiction! His couture line truly represents women and imagination! My favorite of his 2010-2011 line is described as a Grey-Blue strapless gown in beaded flowers embellishment, with pleated tulle skirt. This gown has couture wrote all over it!

Since 2002 this amazing designer has been designing for Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. His collection appeared in the 2006 film “The Devil Wears Prada.” In February 2009 he launched his ready-to-wear clothing line! I am sure the more time that passes the more popular this dedicated designer will be, among the common. Watch out Channel, and Valentino, here comes George Chakra!

I can’t wait for the upcoming collections he is preparing, and some day I hope to model a few of his gorgeous designs during Paris Fashion Week, and it would be a huge honor to do so.
